IN 1973, David Boll founded the Boll Insurance Agency as an affiliate of American Family Insurance. At that time the office was on the corner of Church Street and Wisconsin Avenue in New Holstein. In 1982, the agency was relocated to its current location at 1806 Wisconsin Avenue. Throughout his career, David received numerous awards and commendations as an insurance agent and was one of the top agents in the district.
David’s daughter Erica worked at the agency after school, on weekends, and during the summer when she was attending Kiel High School. She graduated high school in 1990 and went on to earn her degree in Business Administration and Marketing from UW-Milwaukee in 1994. While attending college, she worked for an insurance agency in the Milwaukee area as a licensed agent. Upon her graduation, she returned home to work for her father at Boll Insurance Agency as a Licensed Customer Service Representative.
In May of 2005, David retired and Erica transitioned to be an independent insurance agent, forming Erica Boll Insurance. In 2008, she purchased Rick Nelsen’s insurance agency in Chilton, merging both offices into her New Holstein location.
Erica continues to serve both the New Holstein and Kiel communities in both business and social areas.
